She focused on modular modeling in UE/3D Max, selecting a single-building concept art to ensure manageable scope. Key methods included phased goal-setting, Substance Designer procedural texturing, and manual animation keyframing for animal movements.
She emphasized iterative optimization (e.g., reconstructing vegetation shaders via tutorials to fix shadow issues) and referencing ArtStation workflows.
Shi-wan advised analyzing grayscale compositions for lighting balance, leveraging Bilibili tutorials, and maintaining asset naming conventions for efficiency. Future plans involve exploring dynamic TOD lighting and interactive scene builds to strengthen his portfolio for industry entry.
